1. Our Service

StoryBolt creates personalised children's books using artificial intelligence. We generate unique stories and illustrations based on the details you provide, then print and deliver physical books or provide digital downloads.

2. Orders and Payment

• All prices are displayed in GBP
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe
• Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed
• You will receive an email confirmation with your order details

3. Book Generation and Proofs

• Books are generated using AI based on the details you provide
• You will have the opportunity to preview your book before it is printed
• Once you approve the proof, it will be sent to print and cannot be modified
• We reserve the right to reject orders containing inappropriate content

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Physical books are printed and shipped by our fulfilment partner, Gelato
• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address
• Delivery times are estimates and may vary by location
• We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers

5. Digital Products

Digital books are provided as downloadable PDF files. Once your book is generated and approved, you can download it from your order page. Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded.

6. Refunds and Returns

• Before proof approval: Full refund available
• After proof approval (physical): We will replace books with printing defects at no charge
• Digital products: Non-refundable once downloaded

7. Intellectual Property

The stories and illustrations generated for your book are created uniquely for you. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use the content of your purchased book. The StoryBolt brand, logo, and platform remain our intellectual property.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our books are created using AI technology. While we implement safety checks and quality controls, AI-generated content may occasionally contain imperfections. The proof preview step allows you to review and approve the final product before printing.

9. Limitation of Liability

StoryBolt provides its services "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website.
